Sedation

Mid-County Endodontic Group believes that quality care includes minimizing a patient’s stress during procedures. For your comfort, our office is equipped for both nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia (“laughing gas”) and oral sedative techniques.

In addition, we work with a dental anesthesiologist to provide patients that need IV (intravenous) sedation. This allows Drs. Pawlak, Hahn and Chen to fully focus on the care of the patient, while the anesthesiologist provides the anesthesia and monitors the patient during the entire procedure. With IV sedation, patients typically have reduced post-op discomfort and no memory of the procedure.
