Patient Information

Initial Visit

Your first appointment will include a comprehensive oral examination, at which time we’ll explain your diagnosis and treatment options.  Depending on the complexity of your case, treatment may be done on the same day. Procedures are performed using local anesthesia, and you will likely be able to drive or return to work without restrictions immediately afterward.

Please eat a full breakfast or lunch as directed, and continue to take all medications for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems and any other conditions as recommended by your physician. If you have a question, please call our office before your appointment.

Information To Bring

Please assist us by bringing the following information to your initial visit/consultation:

  • Referral slip and any x-rays, if available.
  • Dental insurance card and all necessary forms (i.e. employer, insurance carrier, group number, etc.) This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
  • Visit our Patient Portal for all required form.

Scheduling

Mid-County Endodontic Group is open Monday through Saturday with evening hours available.  We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible.  If you have pain or an emergency situation, we will make every attempt to give you an appointment that day.

We try our best to stay on schedule and minimize your wait. The practice provides emergency care and surgical services, and certain circumstances may lengthen the time needed for a procedure. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

X-rays

X-rays from your dentist are helpful but not required. We will take x-rays at your initial consultation and throughout treatment. Our office is equipped with the most advanced digital radiography system, which reduces radiation exposure by 90 percent compared with conventional dental x-rays. Please see “Should I be concerned about x-rays?”
